The ACI New York ENERGY STAR for Homes Conference will feature the COACH Mobile Training and Testing Lab. This repurposed motor home will be on-site to demonstrate home performance and building diagnostics.

COACH will teach energy auditors, inspectors, and retrofitters how furnaces work, including identifying dangerous conditions, safety controls, proper venting, and proper health and safety testing protocols to meet rigorous federal requirements for low-income weatherization programs.

In addition, COACH will be used to train participants on how to do air leakage testing on houses, proper and safe house ventilation, thermal imaging with infrared cameras, and safe attic air sealing.
